All alone

You're all alone
you hear the phone
who can it be
is it for me
you turn your head
catch that flash of red
before you see
a voice says me

You're eyes start to quiver
and so does your liver
suddenly your mind
is ten years behind
you remember the time
when life was mine
you're young at heart
and very smart
until the night you ran from the fight

You met a friend called Emily
who said "Hey Tess, take an E"
Your mind preached out loud
but you wanted, you wanted
to keep with the crowd
You shed a tear
such a lonely tear
You should have listened
to your trustworthy fear.

Then you get a bang
a bang to the head
then you see the flash
sudden flash of red
she fed her head
with what they said!
not much she can say
'cos now she's dead.

Her life was taken
was taken away
because that girl
she went the wrong way
it's easy to go
to go the wrong way
but eventually
you'll fade, fade away.

Can you tell the message I am trying to give?
you'll know it quite well
if you want to live
Now her life
is pretty much wasted
she should have listened to her mind
and hesitated.
